With reference to your letter of the 2nd June 1896 No. 11620/96, relating to the Extension of the Naval Yard at Hong Kong, I am commanded by the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to acquaint you for the information of the Secretary of State for the Colonies, that, although the War Office has not yet concurred in the proposed arrangements, my Lords see no objection to the publication of the correspondence in question, with the exception of the passages relating to Mr Sharp's property.
